Awards and Recognition of Guild Members

Each year the Lehigh Valley Chapter PGC presents various awards. The Paul A. Wieand Scholarship for $1000 is presented to a student that is furthering their education in the arts & crafts area. It is awarded after a live jurying session with our standards committee. This year the award was split between two students.

In addition to the scholarship, letters are sent to all schools in the Lehigh Valley asking them to identify graduating seniors that have shown an outstanding aptitude in the arts & crafts field. These students are sent a certificate and a check for $100.

Finally, we offer $50 mini grants to four guild members who are looking to further their knowledge in their craft.  Click here for an application.
